Kindergarten

We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.

Our Approach

We believe that forming connections and relationships with each child is the foundation to success. We get to know each child’s interests, beliefs, strengths and challenges, and this helps us to guide our teaching. We believe every child should have opportunities to explore the world through play, and that nature plays a very important role in that exploration. We celebrate each child’s individual success, however big or small it may be.

What Parents Think

Our 3-year-old started at Barn Owls last February, only 1 day (3 hours) a week. He absolutely loves it: socializing, learning, playing, behaving, making art. We signed him up for 4 days for the fall. Every morning he wakes up asking if he is going to school that day. Great people with a great concept!
